Yizkor Book of Remembrances 2019

YIZKOR BOOK OF REMEMBRANCES

Bet Chaverim Congregation will disseminate a Book of Memorial Remembrances during Yizkor Services on Yom Kippur.

The High Holy Days are a time of memory and reflection, renewal and celebration. Many of us spend time during these High Holy Days thinking about, and remembering our loved ones who are no longer with us. Consistent with Jewish tradition, it is customary to gather as a community and call to mind the beloved memories of those departed as a party of High Holiday observance.

The Book of Remembrance is dedicated to the memory of our loved ones who have passed away and can be a meaningful and permanent recognition for family and friends. By honoring their memory through gifts of tzadaka, our contributions become a living memorial ensuring the continuity and renewal of Jewish life and community.

This year, if you would like to have the name(s) of your loved ones(s) included in our Book of Remembrance, we are asking for a donation in the amount of $36 for the first 3 names or $54 for four or more names, which may be taken care of here, or by mailing this completed form and your donation to our Treasurer, Stuart Goldman, at the Bet Chaverim post office box. Please do not forget to indicate that your donation is for the Book of Remembrance.

To include the name(s) of your loved one(s) in ourĀ  Book of Remembrance, please complete the online form below, or send an email to Heather Zimmerman (heather_zimmerman@verizon.net), or print and snail mail the form below to our postal box no later than September 3, 2019. This date is firm, as we must have all of the names and donations no later than September 6, 2019 in order for us to have adequate time to compile and produce this special booklet.
