The mission of the Jewish Federation of Howard County is to support and serve the Howard County Jewish community and Jews throughout the world.  The Federation is a dynamic, integrating resource for all Jewish organizations in Howard County. The Jewish Federation of Howard County works to meet the needs of the local Jewish community and of fellow Jews in Israel and worldwide. The Federation works to promote Jewish identity, involve and build Jewish community in Howard County and strengthen ties with the broader community. The Jewish Federation of Howard County is the premiere channel for helping donors fulfill their dreams of a vibrant Jewish community and for supporting the most vulnerable.

PJ Library’s Shabbat Tots - Fri., Sept. 8, 2017 - June 8, 2018, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, 10630 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Suite 400. Join us to celebrate Shabbat on Fridays each week with singing, stories and crafts! Led by Laurie Avrunin. Registration is $200 per family for the whole year. Zikaron BaSalon - Sat., Jan. 27, 7:00 PM at the Home of Shulamit & Jonathan Finkelstein. On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join our community at Zikaron BaSalon (“Memories in the Living Room”), a tradition originating in Israel where family and friends gather to open their hearts to the stories of the survivors and commemorate this solemn day. We will meet at the home of a local community member to hear from a survivor and participate in a discussion. Program is free, but registration required at Associated.org/HolocaustRemembrance. Israel Café Lunch ‘N Learn - Wed., Feb. 14, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, 10630 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Suite 121. On the second Wednesday of the month, come along with our shlicha (Israeli emissary), Ella Haetzni, as she recounts the different communities she encountered across Israel on the Israel National Trail, a hiking path that crosses the entire country of Israel. Purim Palooza & Kids Activity Expo - Sun., Feb. 25, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM,

Long Reach High School, 6101 Old Dobbin Ln, Columbia. This year’s Purim-themed carnival features photo novelties, airbrush hats and shirts, face painting, DJ Doug’s Simon Says, games, prizes, food, and more! FREE Entry!
